Inauguration of the photographic exhibition by Andrea Filigheddu, photojournalist: 'No one wins in war, and the marks it leaves will remain forever in those who have experienced it, and the places it has passed through will change forever': this is how Andrea Filigheddu's photographic exhibition will bear witness to the fundamental contribution of artistic language to understanding the reality that surrounds us. After a university course in "Photography" in an international class at the IED in Milan, years in which he travelled in Iran, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Russia, India, Oman, Filigheddu approached geopolitics in October 2020 when he left for Nagorno Karabakh where he documented the conflict for a month. In February 2022, he left for Ukraine, documenting the start of the Russian invasion of the country: in this way, he would get to know how war changes people; where words do not reach, the Sardinian photojournalist uses images to go beyond physical and mental borders
