Born in Oristano. Writer, poetess, actress and playwright.
She was a finalist in the “Premio Calvino 2007” with the novel “Undici”. With this novel she begins to publish with the publishing House “Il Maestrale”: “Undici” (2008); “Mia figlia follia” (2010), translated into French; “Cenere calda a mezzanotte (2014); “Il carro di Tespi” (2016); the collection of short stories “Ogni madre” (2012) and of poems “Per assassinarvi – Piacere siamo spettri” (2017).
Her short stories or poems are present in several anthologies and she works with “L’ Estroverso”, a cultural magazine. She organizes creative writing workshops and preparatory laboratories to oral reading, working in the last years specially with Mental Health Centers. She brings on stage plays from her works or choosen among her favorite authors: Gramsci, Merini, De Andrè, Majakovskij, Calvino, Artaud, Yourcenar and many others. Savina loves the oral poetic tradition and moves stubbornly through villages, towns, theaters and squares.
She thanks the life she has lived and still lives for the gift of writing.
